Bent latch pin.
Possible Cause #1 |
Latch block welded too far from latch pin, which allows mechanism to bounce. |
Action - |
Latch block should welded 1/16' away from latch pin. If more than 1/16' away remove block and re-weld. (If latch is bent, replace if needed).
(Diagnosis time - 5 minutes / Repair time 15minutes).

Possible Cause #2 |
Pressure set too high ( Power Down Models ). |
Action - |
Put gauge in line and set pressure from 200psi. to 400psi. for lowering pressure only.
(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 1/2 hr.). |

Possible Cause #3 |
Cylinder leaking. |
Action - |
Remove breather hose from end of cylinder. Activate power unit to raise position, if hydraulic fluid pumps out of breather port, repack or replace cylinder. (If under warranty, replace cylinder DO NOT repack or dismantle.
(Diagnosis time - 10 minutes / Repair time - 1/2 hr.). |
