Platform will not lower.
Possible Cause #1 |
Bad ground or other bad connection. |
Action - |
Check all connections and all connectors for worn, loose, or corroded connections. Replace any defective terminals with 'heat shrink' factory terminal.
(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 15 minutes).

Possible Cause #2 |
Bad lowering valve coil. |
Action - |
Remove coil from lowering cartridge and test magnetism of inside of coil with metal object ( i.e. screwdriver ) while energizing 'down' control side of switch only.
(Diagnosis time - 15 minutes / Repair time - 1/2 hr.).

Latch assembly not unlatched. |
Action - |
With platform on ground, remove lowering valve and inspect. Clean if dirty. Replace if plunger not freely moveable.
(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 1/2 hr.).
